These photos show the people at the ball with a Pirates theme at Preston Town Hall on July 12th.

If you scroll down past a few decoration and dancing photos you will get to some of those who attended facing the camera.

If you would like to learn the dances so that you can join in our next ball in November then Click Here to find the details.

There were masterpiece paintings around the hall.

Then there is the obligatory pirate treasure!

There were plenty of eye patches, skull-bones, swords, knives, guns, parrots, etc.

Captain Brett is ready to welcome "all aboard"                            then begin steering!

There were the young..... ......the very young.....

.... and a wide age-range .....

Excerpts from the Grand March (3 more to come)

There was a vigorous display of pirate sword fighting

Tinkerbell came along....... .....and almost died trying to sort things out.     Margaret narrated the story

What would a display with a Pirate theme be without captives? The display team prepare to bow.

The Pirate theme enabled some aggression to be photographed.  There were no reported casualties, but David is barely recognisable.

More aggression!! Ray (in the photo on the left) is also hard to pick

Coral calls out the dance instructions while the music is provided by the Blackberry Jam Bush Band. The band were joined by some additional musicians, and the outstanding result pleased the dancers. The outstanding supper pleased everyone.
