Cost $6. This includes October 16th and November 20th when the introductory course is held. On the 6 other nights of the course there will be more detailed lessons.

Introductory Course (beginners)  All Welcome (No partner required) St. Oswald's Church Hall 100 High St Glen Iris Melway 60, B9 An 8 week course will run from October 2nd until November 20th 2008. All classes are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. They are followed by a light supper. Adults $70 Student/Concession $50 (Payable in total at the first lesson or a casual fee applies of $6/night for the two dance nights and 12/night for lessons). In this 8 week course you will be taught the dances that will be done at the Colonial Ball, which will be held in November at the Preston Town Hall. The main purpose of the course is to get you into the Colonial scene "at the shallow end". You can become familiar with the basic movements, the jargon, etc, as well as meeting others who enjoy Colonial dancing.
